That’s why Altra Homecare is committed to the "Grandmom Rule", our guiding philosophy to hiring the best and most experienced Home Health Aides (HHA's), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's), and Personal Care Aides (PCA's). The Grandmom Rule means we only hire professional caregivers who we would hire to take care of our own grandmothers – but it’s more than that. It also means taking the steps to deeply vet and screen our caregiving staff. This principle is simple, if you wouldn't send the caregiver to your grandmother, then we will not move forward in the hiring process.
